FirsTierGA would like to be your FirsTChoice to serve as the risk management back office for your agency.
Most small to mid-size agencies do not have the expertise in house to offer Alternative Risk Transfer (“ART”) methods to their larger and middle market. In an effort to protect these clients from competition, and in particular, from the regional and national brokers, retail agents will utilize the back office support provided by the FirsTier Risk Management Division. |
The utilization of ART Methods is not a new concept. ART programs are well established, with almost every large corporation using some form of ART method. FirsTierGA can design a variety of Alternative Risk products to help businesses partially self insure their Workers’ Compensation, General and Product Liability, Automobile Liability and Professional Liability Risk. FirsTier will join the Producer in a “needs analysis” meeting with the client to explain the range of Alterative Risk choices and determine the best path for their specific situation. FirsTierGA, based on the needs analysis, can build an Alternative Risk Transfer program specific to the needs of the client.

FirsTier, Risk Management Division is the Underwriting Manager for Sentinel (SPC), Limited of the Cayman Islands, a Segregated Portfolio Company (“SPC”) that provides rent-a-captive facilities for Program Business and individual clients as an ART method using a Protected Cell.
| There are only two (2) reasons why anyone should assume risk: |
The insured losses are so bad that no one will offer them insurance, or |
The insured losses are so good that the client is leaving too much money on the table for the insurance company. |
